ROWA Ride Report #14 16/06/2013 - 2nd Annual Gnomesville Ride

Post by Stewie on Sun 16 Jun 2013, 5:06 pm

Well the 2nd Annual Gnomesville Ride went off without a hitch cheers

It was a little fresh when we set off this morning but it was a beautiful clear day and it stayed like that accept for a few clouds in Brunswick.

Just the 4 of us today which was good and we met a new rider Nev. Was great to meet you mate and was a real pleasure riding with you. Hopefully you become a member and we get to see you again soon.

We set off this morning from the usual place and headed straight for the South Western highway. After a quick stop in North Dandalup and Brunswick Junction we headed for Ferguson road where we hoped to have a little play. It wasn't to be though as we found ourselves stuck behind a learner in a Great Wall POS and when we finally got around him we had arrived in Gnomesville.

We placed the new members of the Gnome family in their new home and then had a bit of a look around. Unfortunately though 2 of our Gnomes have managed to run away affraid so we will need to make sure we keep a closer eye on the ones that decided to stay with us.

We set of again from Gnomesville and headed up Ferguson again with a bit more luck in the "playing" department. After covering this road a little quicker this time we headed once again for Brunswick to feed the bikes and ourselves before we headed for home.

We took a detour on the way home through Lake Clifton to escort Nev and Ness to Mandurah. One last stop in Miami for final goodbyes and we parted our ways.

Thank you very much for your company today one and all. A simply but very enjoyable ride this month Exclamation

Until next month folks
Cheers
